Well, We are officially finished with Christmas shopping!! Just have to get some stocking stuffers in a few weeks.

It was such a busy busy weekend. Black Friday shopping.. Then Saturday Old Navy had another sale on their fleece blankets and thermal shirts all 5$ so we had to go get us some.



Sunday we decided to go to Kmart and pick up our layaway and not wait for the due date. After we picked up the layaway Nick wanted to go to Big lots to see if they had a recliner there for Dylan ( I had looked online for a recliner because he loves to watch movies in his room and he always sits in his little car and i feel so bad ) I found the perfect chair online but wrong color so we were going to shop around for the right color. But I was ready to just go home and relax so we didn't go.



Later on that night I had to go to walmart for some yeast I was making home made cinnamon rolls, So I asked Nick if he wanted to just go in the BigLots next door to walmart and he said yeah... Wellll as soon as we walked in there was the little microfiber recliner in Navy blue!! the color we had been wanting and it was at the first store we went to!! So of course we HAD to get it!! and Dylan loves it we had to let him test it out when we got home.





So with his chair being bought, That finished Christmas up for my little guy. Now I can spend the rest of the month pondering on what to get Nick.. This is the tough part for me.


Nicks grandma bought Dylan a toy chest, and a table and chair set for Christmas, Because Dylan loves to color and he has no table to color at. She told us to go online and pick it out and now we're just waiting for it to arrive at our house any day now..
The toybox is a little plain but I want to buy some wooden sports balls from Micheals and put them on there and maybe velcro some padded sports fabric on the top so it can be like a seat.





I am so excited for Christmas day to get here already... I can really hardly wait. :)

What a lonnnnng couple of days it has been!

Yesterday we went to Nick's Grandmas house for Thanksgiving, I thought it was going to be awkward and weird but it was actually really fun :) There was soooo much food Everyone brought about 3-4 sides on top of what Nicks Grandma had already made. We made Pumpkin Cheesecake, Pumpkin pudding, and Greenbean casserole.

We got home around 7, and tried to go to bed early cause 4 in the morning was going to come fast, However Dylan had a different plan for us, He was wide awake and ready to play until about 1 AM.. So we got a late start this morning but we were out the door and on our way by 6, We went to walmart first it wasn't as packed as I had imagined it would be thankfully and we even got front row parking! We weren't really planning on doing any Christmas Shopping we had about 90% of our Christmas shopping done on November 1st... We just wanted to get the tree and all the decorations and get out, Buuuut we did end up getting a few more gifts, Then we were off to Old Navy.

We got home around 8:30 and I made us pumpkin pecan pancakes (I am for sure pumpkin'd out now) And then put Dylan down for a nap he was so tired but so much excitment going on he didn't sleep at all while we were out and about.. So I put on the Christmas music and while he slept we put the treee up! I could not wait to get my tree put up I've been dying to do it all month long. We did colors that I've never done before but I think it turned out cute. It reminds me of How the grinch stole Christmas colors, Red, White, And a bright greenish color are the color scheme we have, can't really tell that well from the pictures.

Halloween '09

This year for Halloween Dylan was a pirate! We bought his costume and it was a size to small, They had put a 12-18 Month size costume in a 24 month bag so his costume was pretty snug. Poor baby, But he didn't seem to mind. This year was the first year I was able to take Dylan trick or treating I was excited all month to be able to do this. Nicks grandma was taking us this year since Nick couldn't go and I didn't know the area well enough to go alone, She got to our house at about 4:30 she brought us dinner Stuffed shells and meat balls (it was soooo good). We left to go to Nicks dads house after Dylan got finished eating.. I had bought Dylan an eye patch to go with his costume but he would not wear it, So I found on the internet how to paint one on :) So when we got to Nicks dads house I started doing dylans face paint, He did not like me painting his face especially around his eye it was pretty difficult to do but after 45 minutes it was all finished and it turned out just how I had imagined it would :)




Around 7 we were off to go trick or treating :) Dylan loved it, He was so cute walking up to the houses with his little candy bucket. We walked a little over 2 miles that night so you can imagine how much candy we have! Dylan wanted to eat it all as he got it.





It was a fun night, But I was so exhausted and happy when the night came to an end :)
